O holy Jesus, who came down from heaven and was pleased to pay the ransom on the cross for us, so that you might redeem us from our iniquities, and purify for yourself a chosen people, zealous for good works: we beseech you to write your law in our hearts, that we may see it and may know you, and the power of your resurrection, and express it by turning from our sins; that you would rule in our hearts by faith, and that we, being dead to sin and alive to righteousness, may grow fruit unto holiness, and increase in the grace and knowledge of your ways. Amen.
