O Loveliness supreme, and Beauty infinite,
O ever flowing Stream and Ocean of delight,
O Life by which I live, my truest Life above,
To Thee alone I give my undivided love.

Quote of the Week

“Even if, in order to correct sins or to preserve love, we are directed to do something which seems a little stringent, we shouldn’t immediately fly away in dismay from the way of salvation, because that way is ‘the narrow road,’ and cannot but be narrow. But as we advance in the Christian life and faith, we shall run the way of God’s commandments with expanded hearts and unspeakable sweetness of love.”

- Benedict of Nursia

Great God, to thee my evening song w
ith humble gratitude I raise;
Oh, let thy mercy tune my tongue and fill my heart with endless praise.
My days, unclouded as they pass, and ev’ry onward rolling hour
Are monuments of wondrous grace and witness to thy love and pow’r.

O Jesus, Saviour, grow in me, and all things else recede:
To you my heart would nearer be, from sin be daily freed.
Make this poor self grow less and less, and be yourself my aim;
And through your grace, make me each day more worthy of your name.

- Johann Caspar Lavater

Flow on, Thou Fountain of my life,
Through all the wilderness!
Thou seest what will work for good,
Thou knowest how to bless.
Be praised in my joy, O my God,
Be praised in my distress!

Update

Apologies that I never got around to posting my normal schedule of content for the back half of the week here. I've been busy putting on a play with my school kids. The performance was last night, and I'm pleased to say it went really well!
