Section 27:19-21 (corresponding to Matt. 18:18-20)
For truly you have great authority
As my disciples, representing me:
What you bind on earth will be bound in heav'n;
What you loose on earth will be loosed in heav'n.
I tell you this: if two of you agree,
And before my Father you make your plea,
My Father in heaven will hear what you ask,
And in his providence grant your request.
For the kingdom is truly in your midst,
So hear what I say when I tell you this:
Where gather just two or three in my name,
There too is my presence, and there my reign.
